General Omega-3 Antioxidant
After years of research, MOXXOR has combined the natural resources of New Zealand and formulated a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant complex from greenlip mussels and Sauvignon Blanc grape seed husk extract.
Available as a supplement in highly-refined liquid gelcap form, MOXXOR is the earth's preeminent source of Omega-3s. Moxxor's Greenlip Mussel Oil has anti-inflammatory properties that are an average of 250 times more effective fish oils.
Moxor's grape seed husk extract has known antioxidant levels that are up to 3 times more effective than acai and mangosteen, and up to 50 times more effective than goji, as measured on the ORAC scale. MOXXOR removes virtually all proteins and carbohydrates during the extraction process ensuring safe consumption by those with allergies.
However, all supplements should be taken with caution to observe physiological effects, especially when first consumed. We suggest starting with one capsule only if you are unsure.
MOXXOR has no known negative side effects.
In addition, virtually all proteins are removed during the oil extraction making MOXXOR safe for those with shellfish allergies. Moxxor is not a drug nor is it medication. Moxxor is a 100% all-natural organic product; it therefore does not require the Food & Drug Administration's approval. However, Moxxor does meet and conform to the Food and Drug Administration's requirements for nutraceutical products. Recommended serving size for maximum results is 2 MOXXOR soft gel capsules taken daily, with or without your meal. If you are experiencing high levels of pain, you may want to increase your serving size to 4 capsules a day. You may wish to consult with your physician or health care practitioner before taking more than the recommended serving size.

The MOXXOR Science Advisory Board is comprised of individuals with a diverse range of skills and experience, including involvement in New Zealand's sustainable Aquaculture and Viticulture industries, expertise in low temperature food preservation, pharmacology and marine biology. As a first step in the formulation of MOXXOR, we extract a concentrate of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) from Perna Canaliculus (the New Zealand Green Lip Mussel). We then refine the product through a sophisticated process which is partly undertaken in a high-tech vacuum fluid extraction (VFE) facility. The process is the only known means, worldwide, to commercially manufacture the PUFA concentrate without the use of heat. MOXXOR is the exclusive worldwide licensee of this combination of processes.
The process of extracting the antioxidants from grape seed is similarly unique. We start with freshly separated seeds from New Zealand's award-winning Sauvignon Blanc grapes. This seed has up to twice the levels of polyphenolic antioxidant compounds found in similar seeds grown in other parts of the world. These seeds are from grapes grown under a Sustainable Viticulture program and are free from genetically modified material, heavy metals, arsenic and pesticides. Our grape seed extract is manufactured using a simple and natural process using water and is then freeze dried to maximize antioxidant activity. New Zealand, comprises three remote islands in the South Pacific, geographically isolated from the rest of the industrial world. The government has always maintained strong standards to preserve the environment in a pristine state, adopting sustainable farming practices, and regulating food hygiene for local consumption and export. Combined with a low population density (39 people per square mile), New Zealand is among the safest producers of natural ingredients in the world. MOXXOR owns and operates its own mussel farms, allowing us to maintain quality control over all aspects of the manufacturing process. From the farming of the raw mussels to our unique VPP cold processing technology and stabilization that protects the omega 3s in the finished product, our customers are guaranteed to receive the world's freshest and most powerful omega-3 extract.
All mussel farming and processing in the Marlborough Sounds region is strictly controlled by New Zealand's Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries ("MAF") to ensure that the mussels conform to the highest quality standards. The Marlborough Sounds are monitored daily by an independent third party to ensure that all mussels are grown naturally in clean, unpolluted waters, with no artificial or forced feeding.
The mussels from which MOXXOR is extracted take roughly a year to grow to the desired length of 80mm. Upon harvest they are rushed to the factory and processed immediately, to ensure that all the important fats within the mussels are fully protected.
The mussels are stabilized and then dried according to a proprietary process which safeguards the extraction of the omega-3s from the mussel. The processing plant conforms to the highest quality control standards, which are strictly regulated and enforced by MAF on behalf of the United States' FDA and EU authorities. Once the mussels have been dried and converted into powder, they are shipped to our factory for the extraction of MOXXOR. MOXXOR Green Lip Mussel Oil is truly unique. The FIVE main differences are:
1) Cold processed: Many competing oils are processed with heat, which breaks down their molecular structure, rendering them ineffective in the human body, so they don't fight inflammation or provide other notable benefits. Moxxor green-lipped mussel oil is COLD
2) No chemical solvents: MOXXOR Green Lip Mussel Oil is extracted without using any toxic chemical solvents such as hexane (a dangerous solvent used in many cheaper extraction processes). With MOXXOR, the extraction process is done using a process that's much like "supercritical extraction" used in high-quality herbs.
3) No "carrier" fillers: Many fish oil products sold on the market today contain HIDDEN "carrier" oils that are not required to be listed in the ingredients list. These are often soy oil, olive oil or canola oil. They make the pills look bigger, but they add nothing of nutritional value to the capsules. MOXXOR, on the other hand, adds absolutely NO fillers, which is why their capsule size is much smaller, even while delivering a noticeably effective amount of high-potency Green Lip Mussel Oil.
4) No rancidity: Many fish oils sold on the market today suffer from rapid rancidity. That's because they aren't formulated with antioxidants that prevent spoilage and rancidity (such as Vitamin E tocopherols). MOXXOR is formulated with high-potency Grape Seed Extract, harvested from grapes grown in New Zealand. This GSE prevents the rancidity of the omega-3 oils, providing extended shelf life and extended nutritional stability to the formula.
5) No dilution with plant oils: Most Omega-3 oil supplements on the market are "cut" with cheaper, plant-based oils such as borage oil, rice bran oil and flaxseed oil. These are not the "carrier" described above, but rather ingredients that are listed right on the label. While flax oil and borage oil do provide beneficial Omega-3 oils, they are nowhere near as potent as Green Lip Mussel Oil in terms of supportive health effects on the human body. If you bite into these pills, you can even TASTE the difference: Many taste like cheap cooking oils, which is often 50% of what they're made of! MOXXOR, on the other hand, uses only Green Lip Mussel Oil and deep marine fish oil.
In all, YES, there are cheaper Green Lip Mussel Oils on the market. You can even find some made in China that likely contain alarming levels of heavy metals. MOXXOR is not attempting to be the cheapest product on the market; it is simply the BEST marine Omega-3 oil supplement on the market. In our opinion, this combination of cold processing, potency and the use of natural antioxidants is why MOXXOR delivers results when other fish oil products seem to be inert. processed, so it's raw, uncooked, and unheated. No claims can be made that state the product can be used to treat or cure any disease. The product may only be described in terms of supporting healthy body function, "supporting a healthy inflammation response" and other similar toned-down language. It is grown in open water aquaculture farms off the coast of New Zealand. These are mineral-rich waters. The Green Lip Mussles are suspended from long ropes that float in the ocean waters, where they filter out nutrient-rich marine phytoplankton, concentrating their nutrients into these magnificent oils!
No Green Lip Mussels are removed from the ocean floor. These are seeded, farmed and then harvested in the open water. No coral reef is damaged and no food is removed from marine mammals (such as with krill oil, where krill is taken away from the whales who need it as food). They naturally feed off the marine phytoplankton (simple, single-celled organisms in the ocean waters) that are swept Northward from the Antarctica. These are pristine waters that are rich in marine nutrients. Four years is the approximate shelf life of MOXXOR. However it is far to good to be keeping it that long :)
MOXXOR can be refrigerated once opened, although this is not necessary except in extreme temperatures. A cool spot at room temperature is sufficient.
